4. AI Processing & Third-Party Services

When you use our tailoring and cover letter features, your content is processed by OpenAI's API to generate AI-powered suggestions. Important notes:

  • •OpenAI does not use API data for training their models (per their API data usage policy)
  • •We use OpenAI's latest models optimized for privacy and security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard practices:

  • •Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest
  • •Authentication: Secure authentication via Supabase Auth with optional Google OAuth
  • •Transmission: All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • •Access Control: Row-level security ensures users can only access their own data

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

10. Chrome Extension

Our Chrome extension accesses job descriptions from web pages you visit to provide tailoring suggestions. The extension only activates when you explicitly use it and does not track your browsing activity. Extension data is processed through the same secure channels as our web application.

FYTR is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, please contact us immediately.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through the service. Your continued use of FYTR after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
